Self portrait in charcoal. I attempted to show my depression in a visual form. Blank look on my face even though i've been stabbed in the neck 4 times. Circuit boards take over my face showing how i hide behind technology. This picture is just me a normal average artist just trying to get by and live through the shame that i wont ever amount to much. The picture is based on a Hans Rudi Giger piece who a idol of mine. The assignment was to take an artist IE Giger and use his style to create a self portrait. So kudos to GIGER who is an amazing artist and everyone should look up his work. He was an amazing man.

I really like the subtler things, though, like the crow and the eye peering through the lock, any particular reason for their placement? My only criticism is I wish the crow flowed into the hairline rather than stopping abruptly. Everything else flows so nicely in this, I suppose that makes it more noticable.
